By Scorpion ex Lead'er Inn (Supreme Leader)

Acquired from the Goff's Land Rover sale In June 2014.  An Caisteal Nuadh is a striking son of Scorpion, who is rapidly becoming one of the best young NH sires around. His racecourse debut came at Limerick in July 2016 where he was the easy winner of a bumper under Nina Carberry. He made his mark over hurdles when winning a maiden hurdle at Limerick in July 2017. We started the new year with his debut over fences when he finished a credible third behind Sutton Place, travelling well throughout the race but proving no match for the winner over the final couple of fences. We will find easier opportunities than his debut effort and he w...

Archipenko ex Rowelstone Express (Rail Link)

Archipenko (recently deceased) is a sire we like whose progeny currently represent excellent value. As a racehorse he was Champion International Miler and won 5 Group races across three continents. His 2016 runners included Group 2 winner Don Archi and Group 3 winners Alcometer, Va Bank and Stony Broke. He is a nice big foal out of a Rail Link mare who was injured on her second run and retired. A very athletic horse with a long stride, he will be in training for the 2018 season.

Shantou ex Artic Native (Be My Native)

A son of one of the hottest national hunt Shantou out of a classic Be My Native dam line. He ran in two Irish point to points at Tyrella to gain experience, and sadly cracked his pelvis when travelling well on his second appearance. He needed a year off to recuperate before starting his career on the track. Ran a cracker on debut to finish second in a hot bumper at Huntington behind Theo's Charm. Second in two novice hurdles before a couple of disappointing efforts in handicaps. Freshened up and with some small issues resolved he won at Uttoxeter in April by 9 lengths. He has made a solid start to his chasing career, wi...

Eden Collonges 1 View Full Profile
By Lucarno ex Regence Collonges (Garde Royale)

<span style="background:#F0FFF0;" ;"="">Eden Collonges is an athletic four-year-old who was purchased in France from the same stud as Neptune Collonges. He comes from a good Garde Royale dam line and his half-brother Delphi Collonges (by Voix Du Nord) was a winner as a 3-year-old under rules in France. His sire Lucarno has produced some useful horses from his early jumps crops including the Monbeg Worldwide, Roycano, Persian Delight, Global Dream, Lady Lamanver, and Lamanver Odyssey. He was broken as a 2-y-o and will came into pre-training this autumn. He stands only 15’ 3’ but has shown enough ability to merit his position. He is currently in the care of Jacqueline Coward and being prepared for a point to point bumper or a four-year-...

Fantastikas (1) View Full Profile
By Davidoff ex Negresse de Cuta (Baroud d'Honneur)

A stunning athlete from the French sire Davidoff. Davidoff has a winners to runners ratio of 40% and has sired black type horses Saturnas, Intrinsique and Cadoudoff from small crops. FANTASTIKAS is a really athletic horse who floats across the ground at the lunge. His dam has bred four winners including his full sister Epicas a recent winner in France. He stands just short of 16’2, with plenty of scope and class. He has a great temperament and takes everything in his stride. Despite his size he is well proportioned and doesn't look like he will take too long to come to hand. He will be broken and ridden in the next two weeks and then turned away for his summer break. He will return to pre-training this autumn before joining the Nigel Twi...

By New Approach ex Danuta (Sunday Silence)

A beautifully bred son of New Approach which you would expect as he was part of the Godolphin disposal. We were given first option on him after he was snapped up by David Easterby at the 2017 HIT sales.  He was highly regarded by his former owners, but eventually sent to the sales after a number of setbacks delayed his progress. Unfortunately, he sustained another tendon injury when making his debut for Imperial Racing in July 2017. He is currently on a long break and we will assess whether he has a future in racing when we see how the injury reacts to treatment.

By Kalanisi ex Isabello (Presenting)

We really liked this horse when we saw him at the Goff’s Land Rover sale in June. He is a very correct and athletic horse with a lovely step to him. He is similar in type to Imperial Eloquence who acquired at the same sale two year’s earlier and he hasn’t taken long come to hand. A very well-balanced individual with a great temperament he was in pre-training at Mount Top Stud this autumn, and is getting good reviews. He has jumped poles and hurdles and seems a natural. The selection of a trainer was easy as he is from the family of Banjaxed Girl and Ballykan with which Nigel Twiston-Davies has ...

By Vinnie Roe x Maddy's Supreme (Supreme Leader)

Imperial Alcazar is a stunning athletic individual who covers a lot of ground. He has a great national hunt pedigree being a half-brother to black type winner Jessber's Dream from the family of Native Upmanship and Oscar Rock. His sire Vinnie Roe is responsible for some of the best national hunt prospects around, including Neon Wolf, Barney Dwan, Royal Caviar and Big Bad John. He was at the very top of our short list and we were delighted to be able to buy him at the Derby sale at Tattersalls in June 2017.

By Fame And Glory ex Ozzy Oscar (Oscar)

We were absolutely delighted to add Imperial Allure to our current stable. It was a tough battle and she came at a price, but is worth every penny and more. She is an outstanding physical specimen with size, scope and athleticism. That is backed up by a top class pedigree, being sired Group 1 winner and Irish Derby winner Fame And Glory out of a quality national hunt dam line headed by her damsire Oscar. As Fame And Glory died in 2017 there will be few progeny of her quality available. She stands just short of 16’ 1 so is a good size, she is very correct with a long stride at the walk and an easy moving trot. She looks very forward and has an excellent temperament so we expect her to learn her job quickly. The mares programme in the UK and I...

By Kalanisi ex Missindependence (Executive Perk)

Imperial Aura is a fine looking gelding that we purchased at the Goff’s Land Rover sale in Ireland. We believe he was incredibly well bought given his size and scope and being by one of the rising sires of the moment. He is a powerful looking individual, who covers plenty of ground and has a nice easy way of moving. Whilst he looks every inch a chaser in the making his pedigree suggests he will be sharp enough to be competitive in bumpers and over hurdles on route (his mother won the fillies Champion Bumper at Punchestown). He has been in training with Kim Bailey since September 2017 and has taken a little time to find his feet. He has made rapid progress of late and should make his debut...

When we saw this horse at the sales he was one we knew we couldn't leave behind. He was one of the most athletic horses on show, with a great stride on him. His sire Doyen is a rising star in NH sire ranks. Imperial Elixir showed ability in his homework before making his debut in a bumper at Sedgefield. His performance in that race and a subsequent race at Doncaster were disappointing based on his hom...

Occasionally we see individuals at the sales which simply must be bought, and Imperial Eloquence fitted neatly into that category. Represented real value at the Goff’s Land Rover sale in 2017. Imperial Elysian is a fine looking individual, a beautiful athletic mover and by a sire on an upward curve. He comes from a great national hunt pedigree with a Kings Theatre dam whose family line includes Pampalino, Goonyella, and Blacklough. He is a sharp, forward type who has done well in his pre-training at Mount Top Stud. We were delighted to be able to secure him for what is likely to prove to be a bargain price. His nominated trainer Fergal O’Brien was with us on the day and excited at the prospect of having him at Grange Hill Farm. ...

He is an attractive son of Scorpion from the same pedigree cross as Might Bite. His sire Scorpion is producing some high quality winners including Might Bite, Don’t Touch It, Tell Us More and The Nipper. Imperial Esprit is a lovely loose moving horse who has great size, scope and balance. Recruited from the 2018 Goffs Land Rover sale, we simply were not leaving this one behind. Physically he is everything we could want in a future chaser, being very correct and athletic with plenty of scope. He has a good temperament and covers some ground when he walks and trots. Add to that the fact he is by a top National Hunt sire Shantou out of a proven brood mare by the most successful national hunt damsire Bob Back. He is a full brother to Themanfrom Minella and Fulham Road. Themanfrom Minella is trained by Ben Case and rated 128 over both hurdles and fences. Fulham Road was once considered the second coming and was held in the highest regard by Willie Mullins. Imperial Reprise was first offered for syndication in 2014 when we purchased him as a three-year-old store horse. A really nice filly by Poets Voice that caught the eye on a visit to the Mick Easterby yard. She has good presence, looks very athletic and has a generous touch of the chestnut temperament thrown in. She is a sturdy individual who was always going to be a better three-year-old. Despite her size she made three appearances as a 2-year-old, including finishing second at Newcastle. She is currently on a winter break and will return in the spring when we expect her to take a step forward, being qualified for handicaps off a mark of 70.

A sizeable but athletic foal from the same sire as An Caisteal Nuadh. Unlike many of the sires progeny he has a very laid back attitude, and is currently relaxing under the care of Jaqueline Coward in Yorkshire. All being well he will be broken in the summer of 2018 with a view to entering training in autumn. He is a good size so is likely to take a bit of time.

Weld Al Emarat View Full Profile
By Dubawi ex Spirit Of Dubai (Cape Cross)

Weld Al Emarat is by top sire Dubawi and has achieved a rating of 86 in his 7 runs before his purchase. Despite being well regarded by both Kevin Ryan and Simon Crisford he never reached his full potential and was offered for sale at the Tattersalls HIT in 2017. He had a few issues which took time to address, and we finally got him onto the track in October 2017. Whilst he didn’t get the trip when stepped up to 1m 4f at Catterick, he ran very well back to 7f at Doncaster. He certainly has his quirks, but there is nobody better to get the best out of him than his new handler. He will resume his career in the spring off a mark of 75.
