By Scorpion ex Lead'er Inn (Supreme Leader)

Acquired from the Goff's Land Rover sale In June 2014.  An Caisteal Nuadh is a striking son of Scorpion, who is rapidly becoming  one of the best young NH sires around. Coming from a  Supreme Leader dam line he is bred to do the job. He is a very correct horse, with strength, size and athleticism.  A chaser in the making he was in pre-training  during 2014 at Mounttop Stud in Ireland, where he showed plenty of ability. He ...

Archipenko ex Rowelstone Express (Rail Link)

Archipenko is a sire we like whose progeny currently represent excellent value. As a racehorse he was Champion International Miler and won 5 Group races across three continents. His 2016 runners included Group 2 winner Don Archi and Group 3 winners Alcometer, Va Bank and Stony Broke. He is a nice big foal out of a Rail Link mare who was injured on her second run and retired. Mick Easterby is also a big fan of Archipenko and has taken a 50% interest. He will be in training for the 2018 season.

Shantou ex Artic Native (Be My Native)

A son of one of the hottest new sires Shantou out of a classic Be My Native dam line. A fine physical specimen, with good bone, size and scope. He has great athleticism and movement. After purchase he was being lunged and loose schooled, and broken before being turned out for the rest of the summer grass. He proved to be weak and backward on his return and ran in two Irish point to points at Tyrella to gain experience. Sadly he cracked his pelvis when travelling well on his second appearance and had a year off to recuperate. During his absence he grew substantially, and is still very much work in progress. After his pre-training at Mount Top Stud he was sent to Nigel Twiston-Davies in September 2014 to start his career on the track. Ran a cracker on debut to finish second in a...

Eden Collonges 1 View Full Profile
By Lucarno ex Regence Collonges (Garde Royale)

Eden Collonges is an athletic three year old who was purchased from the same stud as Neptune Collonges. He comes from a good Garde Royale dam line and his half brother Delphi Collonges (by Voix Du Nord) was a winner as a 3 year old under rules in France. His sire Lucarno has produced some useful horses from his early jumps crops including the unbeaten Monbeg Worldwide who is trained by Gordon Elliot. Other notable progeny include Roycano, Lady Lamanver, Lamanver Odyssey, Persian Delight and Bamby's Cat. He was broken as a 2-y-o and will come into pre-training this autumn, where we can assess the best route to follow.

By New Approach ex Danuta (Sunday Silence)

A beautifully bred son of New Approach which you would expect as he was part of the Godolphin disposal. We were given first option on him after he was snapped up by David Easterby at the recent HIT sales, with the trainer wishing to retain a leg. Having visited the yard and viewed him it was a simple choice.

He was highly regarded by his former owners, but eventually sent to the sales after a number of setbacks delayed his progress. Whilst he has had his physical issues in the past our vet is confident there is no reason they will hinder his progress in the future. There will not be many (if any) opportunities to buy into a horse with such a pedigree who is already rated 93 at this price.

He is with a yard famed for their ability to improve horses of his pr...

By Kalanisi ex Isabello (Presenting)

We really liked this horse when we saw him at the Goff’s Land Rover sale in June. He is a very correct and athletic horse with a lovely step to him. He is similar in type to Imperial Eloquence who acquired at the same sale two year’s earlier and we don’t anticipate he will take long to come to hand. A very well balanced individual with a great temperament he has been broken and is in pre-training at Mount Top Stud, and is getting good reviews.

We have already had him jumping poles and he seems a natural. He will progress to jumping hurdles before being turned out for his summer break. The selection of a trainer was easy as he is from the family of Banjaxed Girl and Ballykan with which Nigel Twiston-Davies has enjoyed considerable success. Following ...

Imperial Alcazar (1) View Full Profile
By Vinnie Roe x Maddy's Supreme (Supreme Leader)

Imperial Alcazar is a stunning athletic individual who covers a lot of ground. He has a great national hunt pedigree being a half brother to black type winner Jessber's Dream from the family of Native Upmanship and Oscar Rock. His sire Vinnie Roe is responsible for some of the best national hunt prospects around, including Neon Wolf, Barney Dwan, Royal Caviar and Big Bad John.

He was at the very top of our short list and we were delighted to be able to buy him at the Derby sale at Tattersalls in June 2017. He has already been broken and ridden away, and has a great attitude to learning. He is simply one of the nicest individuals we have ever offered for syndication and a top quality prospect. At just short of 16’2 he already has the build of a chaser, and m...

Imperial Aura is a fine looking gelding that we purchased at the Goff’s Land Rover sale in Ireland. We believe he was incredibly well bought given his size and scope and being by one of the rising sires of the moment. He is a powerful looking individual, who covers plenty of ground and has a nice easy way of moving. Whilst he looks every inch a chaser in the making his pedigree suggests he will be sharp enough to be competitive in bumpers and over hurdles on route (his mother won the fillies Champion Bumper at Punchestown). He has done everything we have asked of him in pre-trainingMore...

By Doyen ex Blond's Addition (Lord Americo)

When we saw this horse at the sales he was one we knew we couldn't leave behind. He was one of the most athletic horses on show, with a great stride on him. As with Imperial Eloquence last season he cost a lot less than we anticipated and we were delighted to add him to this season’s draft. Whilst his sire may not be widely recognised in NH ranks he is highly regarded on the flat siring Group winners on the flat in Germany this year. Imperial Elixir has made light work of his pre-training and has shown plenty of ability. Now in training with Fergal O'Brien we would anticipate his debut in a bumper around the beginning of April, where we expect him to be competitive. A laid back individual with a gre...

Occasionally we see individuals at the sales which simply have to be bought, and Imperial Eloquence fitted neatly into that category. By Kalanisi a rising sire, out of a top class race mare and easy on the eye. He was a sharper type than many of the horses we buy and didn't take long to come to hand. There is plenty of speed in his pedigree and as an easy moving, highly athletic specimen he was expected to make his mark in bumpers. He came into full training with Fergal O'Brien in January 2016, a...

Sometimes we see a horse at the sales that just has to be bought. Imperial Elysian was one of those horses, as well as being a fine looking individual he is a beautiful athletic mover and from a sire on an upward curve. He comes from a great national hunt pedigree with a Kings Theatre dam whose family line includes Pampalino, Goonyella, and Blacklough. He is a sharp, forward type who should be ready to go this season.

We were delighted to be able to secure him for what is likely to prove to be a bargain price. His nominated trainer Fergal O’Brien was with us on the day and excited at the prospect of having him at Grange Hill Farm. He has already been broken and is in pre-training at Mount Top Stud where he has schooled over poles. We have already had considerab...

We were delighted to be able to purchase Imperial Esprit at the Derby Sale in June 2017, at what could well prove to be a bargain price. He is a really attractive son of Scorpion from the same pedigree cross as Might Bite. His sire Scorpion is producing some high quality winners including Might Bite, Don’t Touch It, Tell Us More and The Nipper.

Imperial Esprit is a lovely loose moving horse who has great size, scope and balance. He has a very solid national hunt pedigree coming from the family of Diamond Harry, It’s a Snip, Drumlargan and Coin Man. Unlike many of the sires progeny he has a great temperament. Standing 16’ 1 he has plenty of size and will be suited by jumping a fence in time, We have en-joyed recent success with his sire with An Caist...

He is by top class stallion Stowaway who is the sire of Champagne   Fever, Hidden Cyclone, Outlander and Western Leader amongst others, and is probably the best bred horse we have acquired to date. From a top class dam line which has produced   numerous top class NH  winners. His half brother Next Destination (by Dubai Destination) was sold for a large sum to Willie Mullins after winning a point to point this spring. By Milan ex Joan's Girl (Supreme Leader)

Imperial Reprise was first offered for syndication in 2014 when we purchased him as a three year old store horse. After a short time in pre-training he developed an issue on his front joints as the bone began to suffer from progressive deformity. Having refunded or moved the owners into another horse we were forced to consider the worst possible outcome. We were determined to give him the best care if he could have, irrespective of whether he was ever able to undertake a career in racing. Against vet nary advice we persevered and allowed him to recuperate for 2 years. During that time the bone deformity stabilised and there are few signs that he ever had any issues remaining. Our intial hope was that he would make a nice pet or riding horse. Remarkably he has been in pre-train...

We are always on the lookout to add to Imperial Racings National Hunt string and with this in mind we bought Iora Glas as a three year old. Despite his diminutive stature he was a beautifully bred and one of the most athletic horses at the sale. He is bred to do the job being by one of the most precocious sires Court Cave, out of a Roselier mare. Nearly two years later and after lots of hard work by the team at Mounttop Stud in Belfast he made his debut in May 2014 in a point to point at Largy. A really nice filly by Poets Voice that caught the eye on our recent visit to the Mick Easterby yard. She has good presence, looks very athletic and has a generous touch of the chestnut temperament thrown in. Imperial Racing purchased a 50% share to supplement our summer string, with our trainer retaining the other 50%.  She currently holds an entry for the £300,000 Goffs Premier Auction Stakes at York in August !

A sizeable but athletic foal from the same sire as An Caisteal Nuadh. Unlike many of the sires progeny he has a very laid back attitude, and is currently relaxing under the care of Jaqueline Coward in Yorkshire. All being well he will be broken in the summer of 2018 with a view to entering training in autumn. He is a good size so is likely to take a bit of time.

By Dubawi ex Spirit Of Dubai (Cape Cross)

Weld Al Emarat is by top sire Dubawi and has achieved a rating of 86 in his 7 runs to date. Despite being well regarded by both Kevin Ryan and Simon Crisford he never reached his full potential and was offered for sale at the Tattersalls HIT earlier this year. Imperial Racing purchased 50% of Weld Al Emarat from Mick Easterby after the sale with a view to offering our owners some light relief in the summer months. He certainly has his quirks, but there is nobody better to get the best out of him than his new handler - and whatever happens we will have some fun along the way.
