Imperial B G

Imperial B G was purchased and will run in memory of Barry Grayson. Barry was true gentleman and sportsman who loved nothing more than a good days racing. As a fitting tribute his son Michael Grayson decided to purchase a horse to syndicate between his family and friends. At Imperial Racing we were extremely proud and excited to be asked to assist in the selection of the horse and running of the partnership. We immediately set about finding a horse fitting to represent the great man and after an extensive search we think we have found him. Imperial B G is a simply stunning athletic gelding by top NH sire Getaway. He is 16 ‘ 2 hands, with a long easy walk and has plenty of scope. He has solid conformity and looks every inch a chaser in the making. Despite his size he is exceptionally light on his feet and looks like he could be ready to make his debut as a four year old. He is currently in the care of Kevin Ross at Mount Top Stud and is in the process of being broken and ridden. After a short period in training he will be given a short break to enjoy some of the early autumn grass. When he returns he will be in full pre-training as he builds up to his entry on the track. He is a very exciting prospect !
